If you choose the vibrant capital city of Stockholm as your base, you will have the opportunity to experience a cosmopolitan, elegant, colorful and ultra-modern city with a fascinating mix of ancient history and tradition, as well as picturesque landscapes that you can explore on foot or by bike thanks to the numerous green spaces. The city stretches over an archipelago of 14 islands, located where the blue waters of Lake Maelaren meet those of the Baltic Sea and connected by 57 bridges.

In June, festivals and celebrations take place throughout Peru, such as Inti Raymi, the Festival of the Sun, dedicated to the Inca’s benevolent sun god.

After centuries, an impressive reenactment with processions, dances and even a simulated animal sacrifice still takes place every June 24 in the ancient Inca capital of Cuzco – an extraordinary show and a great opportunity to celebrate with the locals.

Dublin

Dublin is easy to explore on foot and invites you to party in June. At the hottest time of the year, the streets fill with open-air events and a convivial atmosphere in the garden squares and on the banks of the Liffey.

Not to be missed is the Taste of Dublin Festival, where you can immerse yourself in the local gastronomic scene, perhaps sipping the region’s famous dark beer, or Bloomsday, which celebrates Ireland’s greatest writer James Joyce and his masterpiece “Ulysses” with events and theatrical readings every June 16.
