Luxurious, very modern and to be seen at least once in a lifetime. Dubai is an architectural miracle, a vertical city blossomed from the desert, one of the best destinations to enjoy the sun all year round and bask on golden beaches before a cocktail in a skybar with breathtaking views. Typical souks and markets, the largest shopping centers in the world and themed water parks to swim with dolphins. As soon as you arrive you will be overwhelmed by skyscrapers and busy streets but to get to where you are staying you will need a Dubai Airport Taxi that will take you to your destination in no time. Today we will take you to discover the best attractions to see in Dubai.
Burj khalifa
By far the tallest building in the world, you won’t find anything more majestic. 828m for 124 floors: you have to climb to the top and enjoy the breathtaking view, it is worth the half trip to Dubai. The approximately one-hour tour will allow you to scramble up and down the floors and capture the panorama of your dreams. It will be difficult to put your feet on the ground!
Dubai Creek
A natural bay runs through the center of Dubai, dividing it between past and future, centuries-old souks, magnificent mosques and ultramodern buildings. Do not miss a walk in the commercial port and a ride on the Abra, the water taxi that will take you from one bank to the other in a few cents. A trip not to be missed when traveling to Dubai.
Burj al Arab
On a hotel scale, it is impossible to exceed 5 stars, and the fact that the Burj Al Arab is even 7 stars is clear evidence of the eccentric splendor of this wonderful city. Characterized by its unique sail shape, the symbol of Dubai is also perfect for a selfie to send to your most jealous friends.
Staying in one of the rooms at this magnificent property is unacceptable, but you might as well stop for tea or a cocktail at the magnificent Skyview on the 27th floor while enjoying the flickering lights of Dubai and listening to live music. The drinks here seem to be a real art! Take advantage of it and treat yourself like sheikhs, after all you are in the Emirates!
Wild Wadi water park
After the heat of the desert, I stop at Wild Wadi Water Park, a water park in the typical “Arab Emirates” style: gorgeous, sumptuous, very fun. Located opposite the Burj Al Arab, it offers 30 trails and many activities for the whole family. You can jump into the pools or give your all on the numerous slides – there are slides in Wild Wadi that will lift you up instead of sliding you down. Crazy, right? Don’t be bored!
The gold souk
If you love oriental colors and scents, you can’t miss the historic markets of the city. The places to shop are many among the precious fabrics and rare spices, but the most iconic is certainly the Gold Souk, the largest in the world dedicated to gold. Large wooden doors will give you access to a range of sparkling jewelry displays at affordable prices. And if something catches your eye, the slogan is “bargain”!
