What is required to enter and what is not required
In Dubai, there will be no quarantine at the entrance for those who are negative to controls. Dubai opened its borders on July 7th 2020. On the contrary, the same will be triggered for positive subjects. Consequently, the borders will soon be cross again, with the implementation of simple and transparent guidelines for travel. Meanwhile, in Dubai, the gates of structures and services have started to slowly reopen in compliance with the prevention rules of Covid-19, to offer future visitors a safe stay experience, without giving up everything that has always made it a site visit beyond all expectations.
Who can enter
To be accepted on board Emirates flights, all passengers from the countries and airports of: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Egypt, India, Iran, Nigeria, Pakistan, the Philippines, the Russian Federation, Sudan, Tanzania and the USA – Dallas Fort Worth (DFW ), Houston (IAH), Los Angeles (LAX), San Francisco (SFO), Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and Orlando (MCO), including passengers from California, Florida and Texas who connect to an Emirates flight to Dubai, they must be in possession of a certificate attesting to the negativity to COVID-19 issued by a laboratory approved by the local government. Where indicated, a certificate from a laboratory approved by the United Arab Emirates government in the country of origin is also acceptable.
What are the rules to be respected
All foreign travelers will be required to present a recent certificate of non-positivity at Covid-19 or to undergo a test on arrival. Temperature screening is done for all arrivals. In case of a positive test result, a 14-day quarantine period “in structures selected by the government and at the expense of the Dubai government itself” will be mandatory.
“On the beaches it will be required to maintain a minimum distance of two meters between people, of four meters between groups of more people”.
