Discover Bergen Tour App

Bergen is Norway’s “Gateway to the fjords” and with over a million visitors every year it’s high time someone rolled out an app to show everyone around. Luckily some local university students and tour guides banded together to create Bergen Tour App (Bergentourapp.com), the city’s first audio-visual walking tour.

It’s the perfect app for anyone who wants to explore this picturesque gem of a city but wants to do it at their own pace and without being part of a large tour group.

The app features a 45-minute walking tour of the city’s essential historical attractions (including Scandinavia’s first UNESCO world heritage site, “Bryggen”) and has no annoying in-app purchases, unnecessary data sharing requests or ads. The tour can be conducted in English, French, German, Chinese, Spanish or Norwegian and native language speakers have recorded all of the audio in crystal clear quality.

The app also features Google Maps (so you never get lost) and seasonally selected local recommendations for restaurants, pubs, shopping centers, and museums in Bergen. At $9 a download, it’s comparable in price to an audio tour at a museum and will make deciding how to spend your time in Bergen infinitely easier.

Downloading the app is a must for any trip to Bergen.

  1. I’ve been surfing online more than 3 hours today, yet I never found any interesting
article like yours. It’s pretty worth enough for me. Personally, if all website owners
and bloggers made good content as you did, the web will be much more useful than ever before.
