The European owners brought the rich, dramatic interiors of the famous Jacques Garcia to this villa and an amazing renovation of the historic Villa Balbiano.
As a known connoisseur of 17th and 18th-century decorative arts, Garcia has been involved in restoring numerous historical properties, including the Palace of Versailles and his internationally lauded recent exposition in Louvre. His name is also behind the designs of such places as la Mamounia in Marrakech and the NoMad Hotel in New York, as well as the Hotel Costes and La Réserve hotel in Paris.
In Villa Balbiano, Jacques Garcia renovated almost 6,500-square-foot living space on three floors, including a grand hall with Baroque frescoes, a piano hall with a Steinway concert grand, an indoor pool with a vaulted ceiling, and a formal dining room.
